If you existing organization is big, you can request for internal transfer which you will need to wait for a while due to current economic climate. But if you really good, your company will definitely want to keep you forever. Alternatively, you can look outside for a new job instead of working for internal transfer. If you think your previous boss may affect your career in the organization, looking out may be a better solution.
